At the beginning of 2011, SB65 was passed which made it possible for students to take online courses. Seven school districts joined to create a new consortium, Utah Students Connect.
Utah Student Connect is proud to provide a quality education with highly qualified teachers, and innovative curriculum. The curriculum was developed by highly qualified Utah teachers in the districts of Davis, Granite, Jordan, Murray, Park City, Nebo and Tooele.
Students in any of these districts can take courses from Utah Students Connect. For the school year of 2011-2012, students can take two online credits in place of other credits within the regular school day. Students can take two courses above their normal schedule if they have plans for early graduation.
Students can enroll for new courses each term for original credit.
